ABOUT

I discovered yoga in my teens and developed a regular practice in my early twenties as a way to find balance amidst the pressures of London life. Yoga was a saviour from all the disconnection I was feeling with the world around me, and myself. What began as a personal refuge soon became a path of deeper exploration, blending movement, mindfulness, and healing. Initially drawn to Hatha yoga, I quickly fell in love with the dynamic and playful nature of Vinyasa and Rocket, appreciating the physical and emotional strength these styles cultivate.
To put it simply, my yoga practice saved my life. It gave me community, love, and endless strength, and sharing this magic with others has been a huge part of that.
My teaching is shaped not only by my training but also by my lived experiences. Growing up in London in a Romanian-Iraqi refugee family, I often felt pulled between cultures, expectations, and ways of being. Yoga became a space where I could reconcile those different parts of myself—a practice that allowed me to soften, breathe, and discover my own rhythm. Alongside yoga, I studied psychotherapy and mental health, which deepened my understanding of trauma, resilience, and the many ways we hold our stories in our bodies. These threads naturally weave into my classes, where I encourage students to listen inwardly and honour their unique journey.
I believe in the power of yoga to cultivate connection—both within ourselves and with the world around us. My classes offer a balance of energising movement and restorative stillness, creating space for exploration, self-care, and deep presence. Whether on the mat, by the ocean, or in community, I hope to share yoga as a practice of remembering—of coming home to yourself.
